The bear with the gooey, honey covered paws will always eclipse A. A. Milne's other creations. Like his lighthearted play aboutâ¦bigamy. Yup. Bigamy. Written five years prior to the first Winnie-the-Pooh story, Mr. Pim Passes By's simple plot unfolds with Mr. Caraway Pim ambling into the lives of a happy couple. The two were married five years after her first husband died. But, what if he wasn't dead? Pim informs the couple that he's recently spotted her first husband very much alive. But, like the oft bothered Pooh who couldn't remember where he'd stashed his honey pot, Pim suffers from absent-mindedness. And he's especially bad when it comes to people's names. Mr. Pim Passes By runs through Sunday at the Dallas Hub Theater, 2809 Canton St. Tickets are $15 to $25 and vary with show times. Call 214-749-7010 or visit dallashubtheater.org.
