I have all the experience I need to enter future relationships, what with the emotional roller coaster the Mavericks keep providing. The season has started, and all the speculation is just about whether or not we'll ever win a championship. I've learned to just enter this go-around with no expectations and merely appreciate them for who they are. But I'm not against them bulldozing their way through the season again with the troika of Dirk, Jet and J.Ho and the freaky awesome game play of J.J. Barea and DeSagana Diop. The Mavs start the work week against the Washington Wizards, who have struggled early on (so their esteem might be suffering). I expect the Mavericks to stomp on that esteem in their gentlemanly way and send the Wizards back to Washington in a collective fetal position. Your Dallas Mavericks host the Washington Wizards 7:30 p.m. Monday at the American Airlines Center, 2500 Victory Ave. To attempt nabbing some tickets, visit ticketmaster.com.
