Been lookin' for a way to have some nice, wholesome family fun in the West Village? No? Okay, so it might not be the most logical place for that kind of thing, being that it's usually home to sexier events like outdoor fashion shows. But all that changes noon to 8 p.m. Saturday as the Life Is Good Pumpkin Festival takes over (a big ol' pumpkin carving takes place noon on Friday, too). Bring the kids and get your fill of live music, food, games and a 40-foot tower of 6,000 glowing jack-o'-lanterns. Admittance to the event is free, and proceeds benefit Central Dallas Ministries.
