Fortunately, some lezzie ladies are coming to that bastion of gaynesser, Fort Worthto crack the dour dyke stereotype wide open. The Queer Queens of Qomedy (hey, nobody said we could spell) features some funny-ass ladies, many of them Texans. Laredo's Sandra Valls, who is a regular on Showtime's Latin Queens of Comedy and Galveston's Que Locos, brings her South Texas shtick, while Vickie Shaw brings her fearless tell-it-like-it-is bits along. The show's host and producer, Poppy Champlin (who the Chicago Sun-Times calls "blisteringly funny") emcees the whole affair. So put on your best Tevas, ladies, and let's have a good time. Hemp products optional. The show starts 8 p.m. Saturday at the Scott Theatre, 1300 Gendy St. in Fort Worth. Tickets are $20 to $35. Visit queerqueensofcomedy.com.
