Only a radio station like Jack FM could put together a show featuring Don Henley, The Pretenders and Stray Cats and make it seem like a match made in heaven. Sure, each band is good in their own way, but traditionally speaking, eagles and cats don't travel well together, regardless of the fact that there's a PETA activist on site. But here's the thingpeople like these bands and they always will, differences be damned. The Pretenders has had a revolving door of band members throughout their turbulent history, but rock goddess Chrissie Hynde will always be front and center on stage. And the Stray Cats, with their original line-up still intact after all these years, will surely rock this town, as will UNT's favorite alum. With more hit singles that you can shake a stick at, these three acts together will make for one hell of a night as Jack's Big Show hits Nokia Theatre at Grand Prairie, 1001 NextStage Drive. The fun starts at 7:30 p.m. Saturday. Tickets ($49.50 to $99.50) are available through Ticketmaster, so call 214-373-8000 or visit ticketmaster.com.
