My all-time favorite chef/food-realted personality is Anthony Bourdain. The guy's full of 'tude, he knows the ins and outs of running a kitchen, he'll eat anything and he's written the books to prove all of it. But while I enjoy his being a bit of an asshole, others might not take too kindly to paying $55 for a class on Dinner Al Fresco and being berated on the wussiness of salads, the joys of offal meats and how you need to get off your ass and cook. So, Central Market probably chose the right instructor in Molly Fowler, aka Houston's personable Dining Diva. Class is in session from 6:30 p.m. to 9 p.m. Wednesday at Central Market, 5750 E. Lovers Lane. To register, call 214-361-5754.
Wed., March 14, 6:30-9 p.m.
