Although Ol' Blue Eyes has been gone for more than a decade, there is probably no better way to celebrate our nation's independence than dancing the night away to a collection of the 20th Century's most popular Big Band favorites . The Garland Opry will present a Las Vegas-inspired Frank Sinatra tribute show Saturday at the Plaza Theatre, 521 W. State St. in Garland. Paul Salos, internationally known for his Frank Sinatra tribute performances and for being the Top 6 Finalist on America's Got Talent, along with his nine-piece orchestra will bring a new interpretation to the repertoire of the Italian Crooner with Sinatra: The Man and His Music. Afterward, CB Luce of the Garland Opry will perform a collection of patriotic songs. The performance runs from 7:30 to 9:30 p.m. Tickets are $15 to $30.
