The holidays are almost here and if you really love someone, you spend a lot of money on them. And if you really, really love them, you make a homemade gift. Trouble is, according to a Gallup poll, most Americans have no discernible gift-making skills. True story. Hey, we can’t all be Martha Stewarts or Bob Rosses, right? But the men and women that booth out of Dallas Handmade Market can. And they are. They’ve been hosting a Handmade Market every month since September 2012, and this month is no different. From 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. Sunday, you can shop your little handmade heart out at the Addison Conference Center, 15650 Addison Road, while enjoying complimentary mimosas and Champagne. Free wine, beer and soft drinks, warm mulled wine (weather permitting), freshly baked cookies and hot chocolate are also available. Admission and parking are free and the market will run from Friday to
Sunday.
