DIGG's Taco Shop has opened its second location in Arlington (445 S. Pecan St.) near UTA as part of the College Park Development, which includes a 7,000-seat stadium/center and 27,000 square feet of retail space. In addition to the Baja-style taco spot, there's also a Pho Xpress, Smiling Moose Deli, Pie Five Pizza and a requisite frozen yogurt shop.

A GRIP Mediterranean Grill (which is the same idea of Chipotle just a different region of cuisine) is under construction, as is a Maverick's sports bar and grill.
All of these restaurants sit below lofts and Vandergriff Hall, home to UTA students. Literally, while sitting in the corner patio of DIGG's sipping on a flaming Hurricane, you can see inside windows of college students. I'm not sure what to think about that, but I suppose it's fine. (Is it?)
Saturday night, there weren't many students out; that's because they were all at home studying for finals this week, like good, smart, responsible future-of-America kids.
DIGG's and the other spots are a nice addition for what used to be a rather bleak central Arlington campus. More than 33,000 students are enrolled at UTA, and the area around campus has completely transformed over the past few years.
