The folks behind Cedars Social are coming to the north side of Dallas to open their next venture. Brian Williams and Michael Martensen have announced the pending opening of The Establishment, which will feature a similar cocktail-centric experience to their Lamar Street bar with one major difference: oysters.

The news release doesn't say anything about Gulf oysters, which are featured prominently at S&D and the new bar at Boulevardier, but they do say they'll offer many varieties of East and West Coast oysters at their 9-foot oyster bar.

The restaurant won't be open till December but Williams and Martensen are hosting a teaser event this Sunday. On October 28th the two are holding an oyster fest in the parking lot next to the the site. Expect $1 oysters, beer, bubbles and a DJ.

Cool weather, beer, and cheap oysters? Hey Mike, put me down for 100!

The event is at 4513 Travis St. from 2 p.m. until 6 p.m.
