Sip wine and feel good about more than the antioxidants this week in Dallas. Read on.

The Event: Savor Dallas The Cause: North Texas Food Bank The Scoop It will be a feel-good festival of premier chefs, food and drinks at the seventh Savor Dallas event on March 18 and 19. Said premier chefs will pump out signature dishes to pair with the 400 wines, beers and spirits offered. Portions of ticket sales will benefit the North Texas Food Bank. As you're buying your ticket online at www.savordallas.com, punch in ntfb11 as a promotional code and an extra 15 percent of the sale will go to NTFB. The Event: Artist Series Wine Event The Cause: Share Our Strength The Scoop: All 44 locations of The Capital Grille are in on it. Say, beginning March 21, you purchase an "exquisite Cabernet Sauvignon." The Capital Grille will do you one better and donate $25 to Share Our Strength. We're done with the hypothetical. On Monday, go get your wine on so hungry children can get their food on. And hurry - fewer than 1,000 cases of the fine wine will be produced. If you're less into art and more into wine, know that each bottle will have a unique label by artist Patricia Timbrook, whose painting won the honor last fall.
