Canned Festival Saturday, October 5, at Downtown Denton, $17-$40 The guys at Spune, who brought you Untapped and Index Fest, have just created Canned for DFW's favorite college town. The lineup includes: Menomena, Helio Sequence, Joe Pub, Chambers, Pageantry, Hares on the Mountain and AM Ramblers.

Krewella Saturday, September 7, at House of Blues, $30 You may have heard of Chicago's electro trio Krewella and didn't realize it. See the video above.

Man Man Monday, September 23, at Dada, $15/$18 Seems like I'm always saying this, but local booking entity Parade of Flesh have done it again, this time pulling off Philly's experimental band Man Man.

Datsik Thursday, October 17, at House of Blues, $22.50 Dubstep DJ Troy Beetles will likely bring the House of Blues down in Dallas this fall.

Paramore, Metric, Hellogoodbye Saturday, October 26, at Verizon Theatre Tickets go on sale Friday for a show with three pop bands who know how to pull a friggin' bill together.

Flux Pavilion, Skism Thursday, November 14, at Palladium Ballroom I just had to Google who this was. Turns out he's an English dubstep producer, if you're interested in getting silly at a concert on a school night in November.

The Head and the Heart, Quiet Life Friday, November 15, at Palladium Ballroom Seattle's Head and the Heart are dropping their second album, Let's Be Still, about a month before they roll through town.

Built to Spill Thursday, November 21, at Granada Theater Built to Spill are coming, and they have a ton of bands rotating in and out of the opening slot on this tour. The bands Slam Dunk and Genders are opening for the Dallas crowd.
