Quite a nice little bill coming to the Kessler Theatre in Oak Cliff on Saturday night, featuring showcases in all three of the venue's rooms and performances from Brent Best (of Slobberbone, The Drams), Jacob Metcalf (of the Dallas Family Band and, uh, Jacob Metcalf), Cary Hudson (of Blue Mountain), Kate Miner and Trinity River Folk (which, among others features Course of Empire's Paul Semrad and our very own Jesse Hughey).
Should be a fine time--both a nice way to inject some Americana into your Independence Day weekend and a nice excuse to check out the Kessler Theatre's gorgeous facilities. And, thanks to the fine folks over at the Kessler, we've got a pair of tickets to hand out to the affair. Want the pair? OK, then. Just be the first to email me right now with the words "Folk Me!" in the subject line, and I'll really give to you. Good luck!
Update: Contest is over. Congrats to our winner!
