Beyoncé Saturday, July 6, at American Airlines Center Tickets go on sale Monday for the "Mrs. Carter Show" world tour, with stops in more than forty cities worldwide. The North American dates kickoff in L.A. on June 28. If Queen Bey's Superbowl half-time show this past weekend was any indication of what her upcoming tour will be like, I say get your tickets early.

Aesop Rock Sunday, March 10, at Granada Theater, $18 Until now we haven't heard much from Aesop since his 2012 release, Skelethon. Most recently memorable were the odd videos that prefaced that release, in which he takes a dead cat for a walk around San Fran, and fends off the Grim Reaper. See the witty, socially relevant rapper on tour this spring, his first stop being the first day at Coachella.

The Zombies Wednesday, March 13, at The Kessler Theater, $20-$50 Since 1961 The Zombies have made psychedelic sounds that some say nearly rivaled The Beatles. Regardless of where you stand on that, you can see the group at The Kessler this March for a set that I hope will be chock-full of material from their best album, Odessey and Oracle.

Untapped Fort Worth Saturday, April 20, at Panther Island Pavillion, $22-$58 Spune decided to give DFW a double dose of Untapped this year, starting with Fort Worth. The city's Panther Island Pavillion will see headlining acts Justin Townes Earle, Deer Tick, Sarah Jaffe and Tennis this spring. If you haven't done so yet, go to the venue's website to look at some photo evidence of how cool the place actually is.

She & Him Saturday, June 15, at Verizon Theatre, $35 Since the Zooey Deschanel and M. Ward pairing in 2006, indie rock aficionados from all corners of the world have not been able to get enough of their stripped down, minimalist folk. Volume 3 will be the duo's next follow-up to their first two full-lengths, Volume One and Volume Two, and will be released just in time for their stop at Verizon Theater this spring.

Tim McGraw Saturday, June 22, at Gexa Energy Pavillion Tickets go on sale Friday for country music superstar Tim McGraw's "Two Lanes of Freedom" tour," presented by none other than Penzoil. Up-and-comers Brantley Gilbert and Love and Theft will help fill out the bill this summer. Also, McGraw has partnered with Tumblr to create the "Fanticipation" program which will allow fans, for the first time ever, to announce through Tumblr when tickets will be available in their own hometown. Beginning this February, McGraw will call a fan in each market who is selected to participate in "Fanticipation" and personally tip them off, so they can share the information with their friends and other McGraw fans first.
