Last week, Live Nation, the national concert booking and promoting conglomerate that books to Superpages.com Center and other large venues throughout the region, offered up the concert-going public what it thought would be a nice little respite to the recession: One day (Wednesday) in which service fees were scrapped on all lawn seat purchases made at the company's many outdoor amphitheaters nationwide.

Well, turns out, it was quite the says. per a press release from Live Nation sent out earlier this week, the company saw a 500 percent increase in ticket sales nationwide for the day. Which, no doubt, is why the company is again offering a similar deal today--only it's even bigger.

For about another twelve hours--right up until 11:59 p.m. this evening--all Live Nation seats purchased today will again come without the pesky service fees. And not just all seats, but lawn seats, too. After the jump, a list of all the upcoming Superpages.com Center shows to which the deal applies, if you buy your seats today.

A pretty nice gesture, I'd say.

But perhaps not as nice as this one: To further sweeten the pot for Dallas-area music fans, Live Nation has offered us a pair of tickets to give away to the upcoming Superpages.com Center show featuring Kid Rock, Lynyrd Skynyrd and our own Jonathan Tyler & The Northern Lights, whom Kid Rock apparently singled out as his choice to open for him during a stretch of this tour. Want the free pair of reserved seats to help support the locals on the show? Well, send me an email right now with the phrase "Devil's Basement" in the subject line. If you're the first to do it, you get the tix.

It's that simple. Good luck!
