As the temperature increases and we all make that switch to that summertime state of mind, we at The Overserved thought it might be nice to toast our rising hemlines and glowing foreheads with a little summer kick-off.

Blake Ward has kindly let me take over his Friday night party at Ku De Ta's lovely pool tonight and bring a whole good time gang of Dallas favorites to provide the soundtrack while you lounge poolside. Cabana optional.

Joining me is DC9 at Night hip-hop writer and nail artist extraordinaire Vanessa Quilantan a.k.a ProNail Princesa, the charming DJ Trademarx, who I hear if going through a singles-hunting phase which means he has the sickest 90's remixes on deck for you tonight, and North Texas songwriting maven and professional Viner Sarah Jaffe. I told you it was a good time gang.

The drinks will be cold, the beats will be banging and The Overserved has a terrible habit of sending cocktails to new friends. So come out and play, the water is just fine! Ku De Ta. 10 PM. No Cover. No lists. Just good friends and music.
