Tomorrow night, The Lounge on Elm Street will play host to a show that, well, is pretty much as trendy and hip as a show can get. And, no, that's not a damning description.
Headlining the bill is Toronto's mind-blowing live act Holy Fuck, which features four members tweaking various sound-makers--both standard instrumentation (guitar, bass) and more abstract contraptions (like printer-like devices that band members tug on to create different aesthetics). On tour support? That's San Diego's reverb-drenched Crocodiles, which got some serious love from Rolling Stone in its most recent issue, within a feature about the blossoming San Diego scene. And on local support? The URB-approved futuristic hip-hoppers in Damaged Good$.We'll be there--with bells on, even--and, really, you should be, too. Which is why it's oh-so-convenient that, thanks to Parade of Flesh, which booked this show, we've got a pair of tickets to hand out to one lucky DC9 reader. Want the pair? Email me right now with the phrase "Holy Fuck, Did I Win?!?!" in the subject line, and you're in. Starting right now. Good luck.
Update: Contest is over. Congrats to our winner.
