With the calendar year about to turn, we're coming up on three years of Fair to Midland promising new material and not coming out with it. So when I spotted frontman Darroh Sudderth not too long ago at Trees, I asked him what was up.

His response? "It's a process," he said with a shrug.

Lucky for the band, then, that its live show--truly one of the region's best, a high-octane affair that never once pauses for a breather--is satisfying enough to keep fans bide the time. And, when the band takes to the Granada Theater on Saturday night alongside Shreveport's The American Tragedy and locals The House Harkonnen and Bronze Whaler, fans no doubt expect the usual onslaught of aural and visual stimulation.

Which is why we're thankful that the Granada's passed along six pairs of tickets to the show. Only, this time, there's an added bonus to our giveaway: Fair to Midland's been kind enough to also pass along a prize pack for one lucky winner--a package that includes an FTM T-shirt, a copy of the band's major label debut (Fables From a Mayfly: What I Tell You Three Times Is True), and a drumhead signed by all five of the band's members. Want the pack? Be among the first six people to email me right now with the words "Fair Game" in the subject line and you'll get a pair of tickets for making that cut-off; you'll also be entered into a random drawing to see which of the ticket-winners also walks with the prize pack. Good luck!

Update: Contest is over. Congrats to our winners!
