Ah, 2011. Back then you could occupy anything. So much hope, so much vigor. So many billy clubs and cans of pepper spray. Where did the time go? And how, in a post-OWS world, could MIttens be polling so well?

We cannot guarantee that Kitchen Dog Theater has the answers, but we do know they will re-ask the questions. They recently announced OCCUPY #S17, a free performance event stemming from Let Me Ascertain You, a nationwide performance organized by New York's The Civilians.

"Featur[ing] monologues crafted from interviews with Occupy activists conducted throughout the last year," honoring the one year anniversary of the Occupy Wall Street protest.

The event is set for September 17, the first anniversary of when the 99% set camp in Zuccotti Park, and it is set to begin at 8:00 p.m. at the MAC. Seating is limited, and it's first-come-first-serve. More details here.
