You've already worn that griffin outfit to a weekend's worth of get-togethers. By now it smells like a pack of Pall Mall menthols and wreckless after party decisions. Good for you: You've done Halloween properly. Now that the actual day has rolled around, you're in a state of confusion. Keep celebrating, or have a chill Wednesday night? CONUNDRUM.
We've got the answer. Join Mixmaster and The Dallas Film Society at the Sundown at Granada's moonlit perch, where we'll absorb a great rooftop movie and drink discounted Stellas.
Tonight's pick, The Lost Boys, is the very best of Halloween nostalgia: it's got Kiefer Sutherland, the fluffiest '80 man hair-dos ever caught on film and BOTH Coreys. Plus, it's completely free. The screening starts at 8 p.m. and nobody will judge you for bringing a light blanket and occasionally covering your face with it. (Vamps be scary, yo.)
If you haven't made it out to one of our Wednesday evening rooftop films, this is the perfect night to break that cycle. It's the fifth week of this special, seasonal program and there are only three more films after tonight. We'll see you there. (I'll be the one in a black, floor length leather trench coat.)
