Many thanks to the many folks who tuned in and called in during last night's late-night Christmas-music spectacular, which gets a replay on KTCK-AM (1310, The Ticket) beginning, why, right this very moment. (That'll be just the three-hour yuletunes special, not the two hours of pirate-radio non-holiday For Your Weekend Listening Pleasure selections that followed -- and, shhh, don't tell Cat.) Many callers asked for a playlist, which follows on the other side -- both those selections that made the cut and those that were trimmed for time, of which there were far too many. (When available, I've offered links to tracks if you'd like to hear what you missed.) But there's always next year. Maybe? Hope you're having a very warm holly-jolly. See you tomorrow. Now, off to the Eight Track Museum.

Bonus: How did I miss this website? There you'll find, among other covers of a single classic, Billy Bragg and Florence + the Machine performing The Pogues and Kirsty MacColl's great-any-time-of-the-year "Fairytale of New York," easily the most requested song last night. That, and John Prine's "Christmas in Prison."
