Merten's going to two Mayor Tom Leppert-Anne Raymond convention center hotel debates this morning -- no doubt to add to his voluminous photo album, so those seeking special poses speak up now. And Schutze is swamped with a cover story, which leaves no one to cover this morning's meeting of the Dallas City Council's Trinity River Corridor Committee.

Which is just as well. The agenda suggests much of the meeting will be prep work for the May 5 Trinity Parkway Public Hearing at the Dallas Convention Center Arena, which we mentioned last month and for which we're still soliciting those Schutze tees (not quite there ...). Here's the mailing notice the city'll send to ... dunno who, exactly; but posting it online seems more in keeping with the city's green agenda. Also in today's briefing materials: Trinity talking points presented as a Q&A. Here's the last Q and A for those who don't mind spoilers:

How would the proposed Trinity Parkway project be funded?

Funding and the final implementing agency will be determined later as more specific project information is available.
