Our Man Downtown says: Don Hill's done. Why? Because most of the Southern sector votes have been counted, and it's likely Hill will drop from here on out, especially as Lake Highlands and East Dallas precincts keep reporting in. For instance, Max Wells' former council district, which is now Bill Blaydes', is only 34 percent accounted for thus far.

Griffith's district only has 32 percent in. Compare that to District Four, which is where Dwaine Caraway's running away with his council bid; almost 80 percent of the precincts there have reported in. Also, it's doubtful Oakley will catch Leppert. But more results are due...any...second. --Robert Wilonsky
