Me, I prefer the couch and a bottle of cheap hooch with which to enjoy my Bravo, but if you dig on high-end apps, smart cocktails and pointing and bitching at the TV as a group, I can give you the scoop on two Shear Genius watching parties going down this eve. Cheer on the boys from Big D at either Riccardi’s in the Quadrangle (for Matthew Tully) or The Frisco Bar at Lebanon and Legacy (for Daniel Lewis). Both shindigs begin at 8 p.m. (the show begins at 9), and in Daniel’s case, a portion of the proceeds from drink specials will benefit the Boys & Girls Club of Collin County.

And as you might have guessed, with two Dallas boys I’ll be blogging the shit out of some Shear Genius this season. (Hey, guess that technically turns my cheap Bravo hooch into “business juice” now, doesn’t it?) See you back here tomorrow with a report on the season debut, and later this week or early next, just maybe, with words from both our cut-testants. -Merritt Martin
