Hillary Clinton, speaking in McAllen earlier this month

Forthcoming this morning is the return of Girl on Top, as Andrea Grimes recaps her experience at last night's Democratic debate in Austin. But here's late-breaking news for our Friends in Dallas and Tarrant counties: Hillary Clinton will speak somewhere between 9 and 11 a.m. today at the intersection of S. Zang Boulevard and Centre Street during what's being called an Early Vote Rally. As in, says the official campaign announcement: "Vote early for Hillary and then join her for a rally in Dallas! Early voting for Hillary takes us one step closer to getting our country back on track." (Perhaps she read this in this week's paper version of Unfair Park?)

Then she'll hustle over to Fort Worth, where she's scheduled to appear between11 a.m. to 1 p.m. at the intersection of Main Street & W. 1st Street downtown. Also, after the jump, another missive sent out by the Clinton campaign following the debate: Dallas city council member Pauline Medrano's endorsement of Hillary Clinton. --Robert Wilonsky

COUNCIL MEMBER PAULINE MEDRANO RESPONDS TO DEMOCRATIC PRESIDENTIAL DEBATE

Dallas, TX – Dallas City Council Member Pauline Medrano responded to tonight’s CNN Democratic President debate in Austin.

Statement of Dallas City Council Member Pauline Medrano

“Hillary Clinton has a 35 year history of delivering the change she talks about. We need more than promises, we need a President who will find real solutions to the tough challenges we face.

“In tonight’s debate, Hillary Clinton showed that she is ready to lead on day one. She has spent a lifetime fighting for change and a track record of delivering it.

“Only Hillary is ready to end the war in Iraq, restore America’s standing in the world, and provide quality, affordable health care for everyone. Only Hillary has proven she can change hope into reality, promises into practice, and words into action.

I am proud to support Hillary Clinton for President.”
