The US-China Business Council yesterday released what it calls a "full analysis of US exports to China from all 435 districts in the US House of Representatives," which, of course, includes the good ol' 32nd Congressional District -- Pete Sessions country, natch.

Overall, says the report, U.S. exports to China grew 240 per cent from 2000 through 2006 -- but that's nothing 'round these parts. Turns out North Texas' exports to China grew a whopping 374 percent over that period -- and, this can't be right, most of that's "computer & electronics," to the tune of $450 billion. Who knew? Well, except for the US-China Business Council. And Bill Blaydes, probably. --Robert Wilonsky
