On the off chance you're a beer drinker, you should know plans are underway to turn the Dallas Farmers Market into a massive beer garden with enough local beer to float a produce truck. BrewFest has taken over a few locations in Dallas, including the Dallas Zoo and the Arts District, but last year the event moved to the Farmers Market, affording beer guzzlers tons of space to stumble around after sampling hundreds of beer options.

This year's event will take place September 12, which sounds like a long way off, but time always seems to fly faster during summer, and a ticket pre-sale makes it worth your time to plan ahead. General admission tickets will be offered at $35 on July 8 and the price will gradually increase over the summer. VIP tickets start at $65 and will similarly climb from there. Doors open at 6 p.m. for VIPs and 7 p.m. for the rest of us.

More than 300 beers will be available for tasting, which means you can get pretty tilted while never tasting the same beer twice, and if you want to pad your stomach, a number of local restaurants will be there to help you out, too. Local breweries that have already confirmed include: Bishop Cider, Community Beer, Deep Ellum Brewing Co, Firewheel Brewing Co, Grapevine Craft Brewery, Lakewood Brewing Co, Martin, House Brewing, Peticolas Brewing Co., Rahr & Sons and Revolver Brewing. The big guys will be out in full force as well.

Last year's event was a big one. VIP tickets sold out and the Dallas Farmers Market was overrun by more than 4,000 beer drinkers. This year make sure you're one of them and get your tickets at Ticketfly with Promo Code BREWFAN.
