First there was Austin's "I love you so much," spray-painted on a wall that became a mecca for lovey-dovey Instagrammers. Then came San Antonio's "I love tacos so much" wall, a riff on the Austin wall that showed off San Antonio's endless love for tacos. Now San Antonio artist LA Muñoz has re-created that wall in Uptown Dallas, but not just because he loves tacos — it's actually a fundraiser for the Ronald McDonald house of Dallas.
For every selfie taken at Urban Taco's freshly painted wall (using the hashtags ?#?ilovetacosomuchdallas? and ?#?urbantaco?), Urban Taco will donate $1 to Ronald McDonald House, according to a press release. The taco spot is unveiling the mural just in time for their Cinco de Mayo party, which will feature specials on margaritas (including their Don Julio Hibiscus Margarita), popsicles from Encanto Pops, a mariachi band and Mexican luchadores.
The new selfie wall will likely be a popular spot, which bodes well for Ronald McDonald House. For once in your life, take a selfie that yields something more than just likes.
