I'm a busy girl. For that reason, I enjoy multitasking. Alex Fletcher's recent creation for Atwater Alley, the Cubano Daiquiri, helps me do just that — it's an expertly portioned daiquiri with a little something extra: cigar smoke-infused rum. Since it's doing double duty, this cocktail packs a wallop, so take your time drinking it ... and maybe stick to only one.

If you have a smoke gun at home, go loco with this drink (and maybe even try smoking tequila), or pop into Atwater Alley to try one for less effort.

Cubano Daiquiri
2 oz. Cana Brava White Rum
0.75 oz. lime
0.75 oz. simple syrup
2 oz. cigar tobacco
Lime wheel

Place rum in a beaker or large vessel. Pace tobacco in the feeder of the cold smoke gun and insert the hose of cold smoke gun in the same vessel as the rum, then ignite the tobacco. Once a good amount of smoke is in the vessel, remove the hose and cover.

Add lime and simple syrup to shaker tin, then pour in rum. Add ice and shake for 10 to 15 seconds. Strain with a fine strainer into a coupe. Garnish with a lime wheel.
