    Across the street from Texas Christian University, The Pub has catered almost exclusively to college students since 1981. It's a no-surprises kind of place: no special nights, events or bands. Where Irish joints sport the Celtic knot, this spot is all about school spirit. The walls are covered with university flags, and the beer is served in cups equally suited for a beer pong table. Unlike most of the surrounding Fort Worth bars, The Usual has a strict non-smoking policy, but the narrow patio in the back offers plenty of space for folks who need a smoke to accompany their drink, in addition to a place to lock up their bikes while enjoying an Old Fashioned or a Moscow Mule.
