Promotional Event Description
The Greenville Commerce Association will host its annual Lower Greenville Avenue St. Patrick’s Day Block Party, the largest one of its kind in Dallas, on Saturday, March 17th, 2018. The Block Party runs 9 AM-6 PM in Lower Greenville between Vanderbilt and Vickery. Guests 21 and older are encouraged to dress in green, and come prepared for a day full of great music, beer, and plenty of St. Patrick’s Day cheer. The party has been a long standing tradition on Lower Greenville for over 30 years.
Entry to the Block Party is $12, and will include access to the massive event’s three music stages conveniently located near the sponsoring bars, and wide selection of 20+ beers. Some of the best bars in Dallas will be participating including Stan’s Blue Note, The Grape, Terilli’s, Dodie’s Reef, Blue Goose Cantina, Halcyon, Slater’s 50/50, and Dallas’ oldest Irish pub, The Dubliner.
Guests are encouraged to plan for various street closures in the area between 9 AM – 8 PM. Travel to the event will be provided by a free shuttle and, new this year, Lyft. The free shuttle will run 11AM-5PM from the Mockingbird DART Station directly to the block party. For new users, Lyft will be offering $5 off three rides with New User Code: SPBP; or 25% off a single ride to the block party for existing users with code: SPBLOCK18.
The event is sponsored by Emergency Ice, Lyft, Act Event Services, M&M Special Events, Red Bull, Moore Disposal, and Box Office Management.
Tickets: $12 per person, cash at the door
Must be 21 years of age to attend and must provide a valid ID
No backpacks, large purses, containers, or coolers are allowed
