The Texas-born singer, songwriter, and violinist will perform classics that reflects her indie, artsy rock, pop, and folk influences plus material from her EP, There is a Moon. She will perform at Lakeside with her father, master string instrumentalist, Milo Deering (fresh from touring with Don Henley). Her developing catalogue of original music introduces an innovative sound of rock-opera-meets-90s-punk, heavily inspired by the vocal styling of Imogen Heap. As a member of the Denton-based band, Seryn, Scarlett has played a number of notable venues and stages, including Festival Dete in Quebec, Hillside Festival, The North Oak Cliff Music Festival (featuring Edie Brickell and the New Bohemians), Mariposa Folk Festival, Homegrown Fest and SXSW. Seryn also toured as the opening act for The Lone Bellow, Twin Forks, the latest project from Chris Carrabba (Dashboard Confessional). Scarlett has also performed with Art Decade, McAlister Drive, and Starhead.
