August 16, 2:00 PM and 7:00 PM | August 19, 1:00 PM National Theatre Live screenings* take place in the auditorium of The Modern Art Museum of Fort Worth 3200 Darnell St., Fort Worth, TX 76107 *This is a live performance that is filmed and screened at a later date; this is not a live performance. The story has been told before, but never like this. An occupied desert nation. A radical from the wilderness on hunger strike. A girl whose mysterious dance will change the course of the world. This charged retelling turns the infamous biblical tale on its head, placing the girl we call Salomé at the centre of a revolution. Internationally acclaimed theatre director Yaël Farber (Les Blancs) draws on multiple accounts to create her urgent, hypnotic production on the stage of the National Theatre. Please note: Salomé contains nudity, and the characters depict and make reference to sexual violence. The running time is 2 hours and 5 minutes. No intermission.
