On Sunday, November 20, 2016, at 6 p.m., hundreds of illuminated floats, half-a-million lights, and tens of thousands of people will fill the streets of Downtown Fort Worth for the 34th annual XTO Energy Parade of Lights. Not only has the Parade of Lights become one of Fort Worth’s most beloved traditions, it has also grown to be the largest illuminated holiday parade in Texas. In addition to the decorated floats, the parade will also display brilliant antique cars, lively marching bands, precision equestrian units, horse-drawn carriages, and groups of carolers celebrating “The Melodies Of Christmas” on the 1.58-mile parade route. Santa and Mrs. Claus will also be making an appearance on the specially designed, LED-lit, grand finale float, sponsored by parade producers, Downtown Fort Worth Initiatives, Inc.
