With the reopening of downtown's historic Wilson Building in 1999 came Press Box Grill, a bar and grill that aims to reflect the history of the building in which it resides. Housed in the Renaissance-style Wilson Building, built in 1903 this downtown restaurant and sports bar provides diners with tweaked American standards (egg rolls with chipotle sauce on the side, center-cut jalapeño pork chop or a Nathan’s hot dog with Shiner chili). Wash it down with any of the 36 draft beers (five of which are Texas-born, including Franconia) and 40 bottles (four from Texas, including local favorite Rahr).
