A less-corporate alternative to that “other” Lowest Greenville taco spot, Tacos Y Mas looks more like a permanent food trailer than an actual restaurant. It has tacos, as one might expect from the name -- all the typical fillings including chicken, pastor, fajita, lengua and even tripa are represented, available on corn or flour tortillas with the requisite cilantro and onions. Then there are the slightly fancier “signature” versions including fried shrimp and grilled fish, dressed up with adornments like Jack cheese, avocado and chipotle cream. The “mas” part of Tacos y Mas means it also offers burritos, nachos, quesadillas, tortas, tostadas, and chips and salsa. Weekend mornings bring the hungover crowd for breakfast tacos, with scrambled eggs and your choice of chorizo, bacon, steak, ham or potato, wrapped up in soft flour tortillas with shredded cheese and pico.
