Alligator Cafe

4416 Live Oak St.
Dallas, TX 75204
214-821-6900
Website
Housed in a former fast-food joint, this small, casual place brings in the lunch crowds for flavorful, amply portioned and reasonably priced Cajun fare. Good red beans and rice and alligator jambalaya. Recent visits confirm their standing as one of the city’s few true Louisiana-style venues, with hearty gumbo, a range of po’ boys and catfish just about any way you like it…as long as it’s fried or blackened.
