Eddie Cervantes, the man behind Primo's, opened E Bar on one-way Haskell just past Dolly Python. Inside, rows of wooden tables and chairs run parallel to the bar, which spans the length of the entire restaurant, giving it a diner-like feel. The space is small, but doesn't feel crammed. The bar has acquired neighborhood regulars, who frequent the happy hours that run Monday through Friday from 4 p.m. until 7 p.m. and feature $1 off drinks. The menu offers Tex-Mex staples like chicken and beef enchiladas and a variety of tacos, as well as everything from carne asada to a selection of sandwiches. There's also a variety of breakfast items that can be ordered all day.
