Part of the charm of Fort Worth is its rich cowboy history. Old buildings like the one Finn MacCoolâs Pub occupies in the Near Southside district keep the legacy intact as new, more modern structures go up nearby. Not much has changed in Finn's since its building went up in 1929. The bar opened there in 2005 and knocked down a wall or two to make more room for patrons as the neighborhood continued to grow. The walls that still stand are made of the original red brick that connect to pressed tin ceilings with chipped white crown molding.
