Plus, syrup isn't even required for pancakes or the powdered-sugary, cinnamon-y French toast-yeah, they're that good. John's also handles the lunch crowd with standard sandwiches such as BLT, grilled cheese and roast beef, plate lunch dailies and a few Greek noshes that nod to owner John Spyropolous' heritage. John's is a no-frills joint, but when you're starving, there's nothing wrong with a super-short wait and a simple presentation.
