Don’t let the name fool you: Margarita Ranch isn’t all about the booze. The frozen margaritas come in refreshing flavors such as mango and prickly pear, and the list of tequila offerings is impressive, but the food is a real draw here. Tortillas are fresh and flavorful, and warm chips come in two consistencies: light and thin (perfect for the smoky complimentary salsa), as well as a thicker variety that stands up under the pressure of the hearty spinach artichoke dip. Chicken fajitas and sopapillas are standouts, and if you’re feeling brave, try the extremely spicy “screaming tacos,” but make sure you have a cold margarita close at hand.
