4050 Belt Line Road Addison, TX 75001 | Addison | 469-206-3610

Location Description:

In press releases leading up to the opening of McFadden's, the key phrase was “The Irish Are Coming,” but the surface is about as far as they reach. There are some large fixtures in place that are somewhat convincing. A windowed wall that divides the massive space into two rooms is painted the color of stout beer, and looks like it could be found along an Irish street. However, going to the cavernous Addison bar for an Irish pub experience is a lot like going to a Tex-Mex restaurant in Dublin in hopes of an authentic meal. The staples are there: Guinness, Bass and Smithwicks are on tap, along with cheap shots of Jameson, but the heart – it's all Addison.
