Diners could be forgiven for wondering if One2One is a chain restaurant. Turns out its generic feel is completely homegrown: The Frisco restaurant's the brainchild of Jeff Moschetti, a 20-year restaurant vet who served as executive chef at Stephan Pyles. Unlike his mentor, Moschetti doesn't aim to astonish or challenge: His restaurant's designed to make people comfortable. So there's prime rib, beef tenderloin, lobster carbonara and halibut. But a few starters stand out, including a smoky tomato-based tortilla chicken soup and a winning plate of house-made game sausages that are served with vinegary stone-ground mustard.
