With $10 parking, no-smoking policy and a mediocre sound system, it's a wonder that The Palladium manages to book so many respectable acts ranging from Wolf Parade to Tom Waits. Must be the lack of competition. If nothing else, it beats the sickening sterility of Nokia Theater and the chain-restaurant dorkiness of House of Blues.
