Pappadeaux

800 E. Highway 67
Duncanville, TX 75137
972-572-0580
Website
When Pappadeaux opened in Duncanville, it instantly became The Place to Eat in Southern Dallas. If you want to see a snapshot of Dallas County’s exploding black middle class, show up for lunch on Sunday when the church crowd arrives and cheerfully waits for 30 minutes or more to dine on Pappadeaux’s ample plates of perfectly fresh shrimp, catfish and other seafood specialties. Everybody leaves happy. The seafood is rightly renowned in the Dallas area, but Pappadeaux also prepares at tableside the best Greek salad in these parts and offers outstanding desserts, such as the bread pudding and crème brulee with fresh berries. This outlet has the usual cheerful, professional and efficient service. If you’re coming south to Pappadeaux on Highway 67, take the Cockrell Hill Road exit and go left.
