One of the Dallas areas newest churrascariaswhere gauchos tote around skewers of roasted, simply seasoned meat and you dine until you explodebears more than a passing resemblance to Texas de Brazil, which popularized the Brazilian steakhouse concept in the metroplex. The cuts of meat and even the items in the expansive salad bar are similar, which isnt such a bad thing; the quality is top-notch. And theres nothing like spit-roasted leg of lamb, or Rafains best offeringflank steak, with just enough fat to make to make it exquisitely flavorful. This handsome restaurant, owned by a Brazilian family, offers more native touches than other area churrascarias, including a dessert bar featuring various kinds of candied fruit and Brazilian seafood dishes available as appetizers. Warning: Some meats are heavily salted.
This is my favorite restaurant.
The meat is always wonderful and the service is great.
In addition, it is also very family friendly. Our 2 year old loves having the meat served to him on a skewer, so he stays occupied throughout dinner. The staff is also very child friendly and always acknowledge him and are nice to him (not the case everywhere).
My favorites here are the beef stroganoff on the appetizer bar and the leg of lamb.
Service was very poor. We were ignored for refils for 30 minutes then we had to wave them down to get other refills of tea and water. We did not get the mashed potatoes or bananas until we were half way though the main course. Our main waiter took the order and showed up with the bill. We had to correct it as he over charged us $10 each/$40 total. I even complained to the head waiter or maybe an owner and he blew us off. Food was great but service has to be there too considering the bill was $200..... Texas de Brazil is much better for food and service....

Overall:
Love this place, the food is great and so is the service, the place it decorated to look elegant and the value is good for the kind of food and services you get. By the way if you've never gone to a Brazilian Steakhouse like this before then you have to try it I promise it's well worth it, and if your wondering just how much that is for dinner it is $36.95 and for the dessert bar an additional $6.95. But that includes all of the juicy tender perfectly cooked meat you can eat not to mention the salad bar with smoked salmon, artichoke hearts, heart of palm, fresh cheeses, olives and alot more. The only thing I didn't like about this place was that it charge per refill on the soda's. Also if you are use to Brazilian Steak houses and have eaten at Texas de Brazil, this is way better, this place makes there meat taste like a saltlick.
