Bad Weather Won't Stop Good Records Show
It looks like the weather is very yellow right now, with some red and blue. Then again, I'm no meteorologist.
In case you were worried about how the nasty weather might affect tomorrow's Good Records Birthday/Record Store celebration, have no fear. The store has a backup plan in case the rain should continue into tomorrow.
If necessary, the acts scheduled for the outdoor stage (already in place) will move to the vacant Beagle Bar next door to the store, explains an e-mail from the store. Good Records' landlord also owns the former Beagle Bar space and gave them permission to use it if necessary. They expect the weather to clear up by 2 p.m. tomorrow, but they've got a PA already set up at the contingency site just in case.
Full text of the email is after the jump.
Obviously it is raining out there but it is supposed to clear up by 2pm or so if not earlier tomorrow...our back up plan is if it rains and we need to move bands inside from the outdoor lineup we will do next door at the vacant Beagle bar which our landlords graciously have let us you as our rain contingency plan. We will have PA set up there just in case so it should be a smooth transition. We will be outside tomorrow just not sure if all of the day. The stage is erected already and sound will come in as planned for that stage. It is going to be a special day so get ready. Bring a red, white, and blue umbrella just in case and your ears and appetite for all things good.
