Local hard rock/metal band The 12th of Never has just finished recording its debut album and will certainly feature a bevy of tracks from said album when the band plays tonight at The Cavern.
Although The 12th of Never has been around in one form or another since 2003, the quartet didn't get around to any studio recordings until the just recently completed sessions done at DMR Studios in Anaheim, California. The album is scheduled to be released later this year, but folks interested in sampling a multitude of well-recorded live cuts can check out the band's Myspace site post-haste. The band plays live at The Cavern tonight and again tomorrow night at Skillman Street Pub.
Consisting of Austin Mickelson, Rodney Prentice, Wayne Hester and Roger Vargas, The 12th of Never has a cool name, sure, but also an interesting take on the screemo/crunk metal subgenre.
