Two acts that shroud themselves in darkness and make their music seem much heavier than it actually is join forces at The Loft tonight as Serena-Maneesh and Wovenhand roll through town for a gig. Theirs is heavy music for people who don't like heavy music--or maybe pop music for people who do like heavy music. Either way, these are effective ploys of juxtaposition at play in both the Oslo-based Serena-Maneesh's and the Denver-based Wovenhand's music.
