Brooklyn soft-pop quintet We Go Magic is on a sizable world tour in support of their newest record, Pigeons, and they will be passing through town tonight at The Loft.
The band's members started as more of a folk outfit, but have outgrown the genre since signing with Secretly Canadian last year. Their two records, Pigeons, and previous self-titled offering are comprised of melancholy chamber-pop songs with ethereal guitar swells and slow psychedelic builds.
The folks over The Loft were nice enough to pass three pairs of tickets our way, which we will, in turn, give to three lucky DC9 readers. Be among the first three people to email me with "I'm here to see the Magic" in the subject line, and you will be headed to Here We Go Magic and Beach Fossils tonight at the Loft.
Good luck!
Update: Contest is over. Congrats to our winners.
